Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cup All-purpose flour Sifted for a lighter texture
  • 1 tsp Baking soda Ensure it’s fresh for better rise
  • ¼ tsp Salt Balances the sweetness
  • ½ cup Butter, melted Adds richness and moisture
  • 3 large Bananas, ripe The riper, the better!
  • 1 cup Sugar Can adjust based on preference
  • 1 large Egg Beaten
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Adds depth to the flavor
  • ½ cup Chopped walnuts For a nutty crunch

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

  • In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until creamy. Add the beaten egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

  • Mash the ripe bananas with a fork and fold them into the wet mixture until fully incorporated.

  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. If using, fold in the chopped walnuts gently.

  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas with plenty of brown spots for the best flavor and sweetness.
